Only in winter
on the Island of Yoron

a special "island time" begins at Pricia Resort Yoron

Yoron Island
is the southernmost of the Amami

Archipelago, and is a special, breathtaking destination. By day, the sea is a crystal-clear blue known as "Yoron Blue," and by night, the sky is filled with twinkling stars.

Winter in Yoron is a special season. It is quieter than summer, the seawater becomes clearer and the "Yoron Blue" deepens. Wrapped in soft sunlight and the warmth of the islanders, your tensions fade away.

The wind is gentle, the locals are kind, and the island's time passes slowly. "Winter Yoron" is a special opportunity you cant find elsewhere.

Yoron Island in winter has so much to offer.

In addition to the winter-exclusive and year-round activities offered by Pricia Resort Yoron, we will give you a glimpse of the unique winter "island time" enveloped by refreshing air and calm seas.

A Yoron Island Style "Izari" Night Reef Walk Tour: An Evening Stroll Through Shallow Water

Experience a recreation of the night sea called a "phantom sight," a traditional fishing practice once practiced by izari fishermen.

Don't worry about needing any gear, we have you covered! Waterproof gear for over your clothes, underwater sopes, headlamps, staffs for balance and stable footing, whatever you need, we'll get you sorted to discover the night sea!
